What a difference a day makes! This female patient, a mother from Boston, Massachusetts, wanted to reduce the size and heaviness of her breasts while improving their position, shape, and overall proportions.

Dr. Vickram Tandon performed a breast reduction and lift with GalaFLEX internal bra support, combined with lipocontouring of the lateral chest wall. During surgery, the equivalent of approximately a DD-cup amount of breast volume was removed while reshaping and lifting the remaining breast tissue. GalaFLEX was used to provide additional internal support to the newly shaped breasts.

She is shown here just one day after surgery. The red line demonstrates where her breasts rested on her abdomen before surgery and highlights the dramatic improvement in breast position already visible at this very early stage. Despite the significant reduction in volume, she has beautiful upper pole fullness and a lifted, proportional breast shape.

These are early results. Postoperative swelling is still present, and her breasts will continue to soften, settle, and develop their final shape over the coming weeks and months. We are already so thrilled for this patient and excited to watch her results continue to evolve.
