This female patient from Boston, Massachusetts, presented with concerns regarding older breast implants, firmness, and an unnatural breast shape. Examination demonstrated grade 3/4 capsular contracture with ruptured submuscular implants and superior implant displacement related to pectoralis muscle animation.

She underwent implant exchange with capsulectomy, neosubfascial pocket creation, and GalaFLEX internal bra placement performed by Dr. Vickram Tandon. She is shown here five months post-operatively with a softer, more natural-appearing breast shape and improved implant position. The patient is very pleased with her results and overall comfort following surgery.
